THE VALETINES MENU
Bursting with a variety of delicious dishes, the Valentines Menu is quite the treat for that romantic liaison, at £27.50 per person for 3 courses. ARC ART EVENT - WEDNESDAY 24th FEBRUARY


ARC is a new monthly event offering regional curators and arts organisations the opportunity to present work. Guest curators will be invited on the last Wednesday of each month to select a programme of works to be exhibited at The VAULTS.


Join ARC on Wednesday 24 February from 6 pm, for The Vaults Bazaar an exciting exhibition curated by TROVE.


Marking the launch of ARCs 2010 programme TROVE present a bizarre mix of works including classic painting, film and performance by a selection of UK artists including: Jane Ball, Vanessa Barrett, Graham Chorlton, Caitlin Griffiths, Daniel Lehan, Bigid McLeer, Milk, Two Sugars, Paul Newman, Elizabeth Short, and Steve Varndell.


TROVE comprises curators Charlie Levine and David Miller and is committed to offering artists (and audiences) an opportunity to work in a different type of environment, a dusty one with history and relevance to the city of Birmingham.

TYPE TART CARD EXHIBITION - WEDNESDAY 24th MARCH


TYPE TART is a project where Type LLP asked designers to redesign and play tricks on the trademark of London call girls, the tart card. Now with over 450 designs the Type Tart Exhibition is a touring show featuring design entries from both students and superstars of the typographic world.


To add flavour to the exhibition an existing collection of over a thousand original tart cards dating back to the 80s affords the audience a peek of the real thing. Designs include contributions from Erik Kessels, Anthony Burrill, Neville Brody, Fernando Gutiérrez, Ian Wright and Noma Bar.


The night will also include a bizarre of traders, selling an array of fashions from luxury to latex, books, prints, fetish, art, lifestyle products and gifts. Two gorgeous Heresy and Heelz burlesque dancers will also be performing throughout the night (www.heresynheelz.co.uk).
